"SoberDough was really started as a project because I was interested in learning business. I have an entrepreneurial mom who told me, 'The best way to learn is to do.' My mom is an amazing baker and she offered her beer bread recipes and experience as a catalyst for my shown interest.  Our weekly lunches turned from casual conversation into how to transform a familiar product into one that could captivate people from all backgrounds. We incorporated our shared family values of resiliency, staying true to one’s self, and most of all, having fun in what we do, so that those values could be shared with others through our bread. Soberdough has turned into more than a business project; it has become, along with the people that love it, an extended part of our family."

"SoberDough is so much fun for me. I've been baking for many years. My mom taught me when I was young. I love experimenting and mixing flavors to find something that is totally unique and delicious.... We don't want to be just another food product, that's why we handcraft each of our bread mixes in small batches with all natural ingredients, lots of care and a huge dose of fun. It's fun to share the ability to make brag worthy bread with others whether they can or can't bake. Hearing our customers get excited about baking our bread really makes it special. But for me, seeing my son grow as a person through this business has made me very proud of him."
